A. «Letra por letra»: Spanish language courses.

A. «Letra por letra»: Spanish Language Courses.

These are courses of 1, 2, 3 and 4 weeks throughout the year, starting each Monday or on the next working day. We also offer these courses for three months, six months or a year.

For each of these we have four levels: beginners, intermediate, advanced and higher. Students take a test so that we can place them in the level that suits them best.

In these Spanish language and conversation classes the maximum number of students is 10.

They consist, on a weekly basis, of 10 hours of Spanish language classes, 5 hours of communicative practice (conversation) and 5 hours of cultural activities in a group setting: our "Talleres" or Workshops (Ponte al día; Vaya, vaya, aquí no hay playa; No te enteras Contreras) and "Caligrafías".

Optionally, we can substitute one of these "Talleres" with the class of "Spanish for Business".

In the afternoons, and with no additional cost, we suggest our "Recreo" activities (Paradiso, La Ciudad de los Prodigios, Señas de Identidad).

B. «Con todas las letras»:  Courses of Spanish Language, culture and civilization.

These are courses where, apart from language proficiency, we provide the students a knowledge of Hispanic culture such as history, art, literature and cinema.

These last at least 4 weeks and we offer them throughout the year (please, check dates in calendar). 

We have four levels: beginners, intermediate, advanced and higher.

Students take a test so that we can place them in the level that suits them best. In language and converstation classes the maximum number of students is 10. They consist, on a weekly basis, of 6 hours of language classes, 4 of cultural activities in a group setting: our "Talleres" or Workshops (Ponte al día; Vaya, vaya, aquí no hay playa; No te enteras Contreras) and "Caligrafías"; and 10 hours of Spanish literature, Latinoamerican literature, Contemporary Spanish History, History of Art,"Cineforum" and "Spanish for Business".

In the afternoons, and with no additional cost, we suggest our "Recreo" activities (Paradiso, La Ciudad de los Prodigios, Señas de Identidad, ) , "Bellas Letras".

Saturdays, optionally, we organice thematic trips intended to learn more about Spanish culture with its historical sites and natural landscapes (please, check our list of of prices).

C. «Letra Mensajera»: Study Abroad Programs specially designed for each institution.

We organize courses of Spanish language, Spanish for Business and Hispanic culture for universities, cultural institutes and public or private firms. We guarantee the highest quality of tuition.

The directors examine the proposals and they provide a program that responds to the particular needs of the applicants.

D. Preparation for DELE Diplomas.

The Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE), granted by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, are official qualifications certifying levels of competence in the Spanish language.
These diplomas certify the level of ability achieved by candidates regardless of where and when they have carried out their studies of Spanish. Diplomas certifying levels of competence in Spanish are valid indefinitely.
Besides the Castilian standard, any Hispanic linguistic standard will beconsidered valid for the Diploma, as long as it is used by wide groups of learned speakers and is adhered to consistently by candidates.
The examinations available at present are (in ascending order of difficulty):
• Diploma de Español
(Nivel Inicial / Beginner Level)
• Diploma de Español
(Nivel Intermedio / Intermediate Level)
• Diploma de Español
(Nivel Superior / Proficiency Level)

The exams to obtain these certificates are twice a year: in May and in November. The official deadline for registration to take the exam is usually a month before the date of the exam. For more details, please contact us: info@letrahispanica.com.

The exam can be taken in Spain and also in the Instituto Cervantes and Spanish Embassies throughout the world.

Our intensive courses for the preparation of these exams last 4 weeks, with  60 hours of classes. These classes are in April and October. Other dates can be arranged at your request: info@letrahispanica.com.
