Important: Guidelines and requirements.

Students should take all courses (20 hours a week) in Letra´s scheduled program. Only Volunteerism, Spanish Cinema and Business Spanish are optional courses.
Los estudiantes toman todas las clases programadas para el periodo del año que asisten a Letra. Solo las clases de Voluntariado, Cine Español y Español para Negocios son opcionales.
Students should consult with Letra´s Academic Director to set up their plan of studies and number of credits. The plan will follow a pre-established structure but flexible rubrics, in order to respond to different nomenclatures from different University Programs.
Los estudiantes hablan con la directora académica para establecer su plan de estudios final con sus créditos correspondientes, según una estructura pre-establecida, pero flexible, para responder a las posibles variantes de las diferentes universidades de las que provienen.
In special cases, and with the approval of their Advisor and Letra´s Academic Director, students may take an Independent Study.
En casos especiales, y previa autorización del Advisor en la Universidad de origen y de la Directora Académica en Letra, se podrá realizar un Independent Study.

2011 Calendar

2011: 4 Weeks Program	Family Accommodation: 31 days starting any Friday till the following four weeks Sunday. Individual Room, Full Board, Laundry service included. Lessons start on Monday and end on the following four weeks Friday. Festivities: to be determined
2011: 6 weeks summer program	Family Accommodation: 44 days, from 20^th may till 2^nd july 2011. Individual Room, Full Board, Laundry service included. Lessons start on 23^th may and end on the 1^st july 2011. Festivities: none.
2011 Summer semester: 13 weeks	Family Accommodation: 24 days, from 20^th may till 12^th june 2011 Individual Room, Full Board, Laundry Service Included. Lessons start on the 23^th May and end by the 19^st August 2011 (13 weeks) Festivities: 25^th July and 15^th August
2011 Summer semester: 13 weeks (complete semester lodging on family).	Family Accommodation: 93 days, from 20^th may till 19^{th^{august 2011 (both days included). Individual Room, Full Board, Laundry Service Included. Lessons start on the 23^th May and end by the 19^st August 2011 (13 weeks). Festivities: 25^th July and 15^th August.}}
2011 Fall semester: 14 weeks	Family Accommodation: 22 days, from 9^th till 30^th september 2011. Individual Room, Full Board, Laundry Service Included. Lessons start on the 12^th September and end by the 16^th December 2011 (14 weeks). Festivities: 12^th October, 1^st November, 6^th December and 8^th December.
2011 Fall semester: 14 weeks (complete semester lodging on family).	Family Accommodation: 100 days, from 9^th september till 16^th december 2011 (both days included). Individual Room, Full Board, Laundry Service Included. Lessons start on the 12^th September and end by the 16^th December 2011 (14 weeks). Festivities: 12^th October, 1^st November, 6^th December and 8^th December.
