Important: Guidelines and requirements.

  1. Students should take all courses (20 hours a week) in Letra´s scheduled program. Only Volunteerism, Spanish Cinema and Business Spanish are optional courses.
    Los estudiantes toman todas las clases programadas para el periodo del año que asisten a Letra. Solo las clases de Voluntariado, Cine Español y Español para Negocios son opcionales.
  2. Students should consult with Letra´s Academic Director to set up their plan of studies and number of credits. The plan will follow a pre-established structure but flexible rubrics, in order to respond to different nomenclatures from different University Programs.
    Los estudiantes hablan con la directora académica para establecer su plan de estudios final con sus créditos correspondientes, según una estructura pre-establecida, pero flexible, para responder a las posibles variantes de las diferentes universidades de las que provienen.
  3. In special cases, and with the approval of their Advisor and Letra´s Academic Director, students may take an Independent Study.
    En casos especiales, y previa autorización del Advisor en la Universidad de origen y de la Directora Académica en Letra, se podrá realizar un Independent Study.

2010 Spring semester 23 days of family lodging; rest of the time lodging: to be decided by the students once in Salamanca.
Family Lodging: 23 days
Individual Room, Full Board, Laundry Service included.
Lessons start on the 11th January and end by the 30th April.(16 weeks)
Festivities: Easter
2010 Intensive summer semester: 13 weeks Family Lodging: 23 days
Individual Room, Full Board, Laundry Service Included.
Lessons start on the 24th May and end by the 20th August (13 weeks)
Festivities: 12th June, 25th July and 15th August
2010 Fall semester: 14 weeks Family Lodging: 21 days
Individual Room, Full Board, Laundry Service Included.
Lessons start on the 13th September and end by the 17th December (14 weeks)
Festivities: 12th October, 1st November, 6th December and 8th December
2010, 4 Weeks Program Family Lodging: 31 days starting any Friday till the following four weeks Sunday.
Individual Room, Full Board, Laundry service included.
Lessons start on Monday and end on the following four weeks Friday.
Festivities: depending on the month.
2010, 6 weeks summer program Family Lodging: 44 days starting any Friday till the following six weeks Sunday.
Individual Room, Full Board, Laundry service included.
Lessons start on Monday and end on the following six weeks Friday.
Festivities: depending on the month.
2010-2011 - Scholarly Year Students taken two semesters on a row will benefit a discount of 10 % on the tuition price.
